Booking & payment
It can’t be easier. First check the tours we offer, and choose the ones you would like to book. E-mail us your request. Don’t forget to mention the dates of your stay and how many people you are.
We will respond you within maximum 24 hours, and will offer you a personalized schedule according to our availabilities and museums working hours. Once you confirm the schedule we will send a PayPal request to proceed with the payment for final booking.
The tours are confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Payments are to be made via PayPal.
If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can pay via PayPal using your credit card. PayPal accepts all major credit cards.
If you don’t have a credit card, we do also accept bank transfers. Please note that the bank fees for bank transfers are at the customer’s expense.
Our prices include all fees and taxes except for entrance tickets and personal expenses. We will inform you in advance how much each entrance ticket is.
Please note that the French state museums and monuments are free for children under 18, and European students and citizens under 26.
Of course! Although we mention that we accept 6 people maximum to our tours, we work with large and very large groups too. Just e-mail us your request.
Please note that large groups need special bookings in the museums and different type of transport, that’s why our tour prices for large groups are higher than for small groups of 6. If you are traveling with a large group we can assist you with the group reservations, transport booking, renting headphones and other services you may need.
During the tour
No, our tours are fully private. That means that there will be only you and your party in the tour.
All our driving tours start from customers’ accommodation located in central Paris. If your accommodation is located outside Paris, additional charges will apply for a pick-up depending on distance.
Our walking and museums tours usually start from a specific meeting point for each tour. The guide can pick you up from your accommodation in central Paris but in that case the itinerary of the tour might be different than it is described on this web site. For that reason we advise you to keep the suggested meeting points.
If you are late for your tour, warn your guide by calling her and his cell phone number provided to you during your booking. If you don’t call your guide, the guide will leave the meeting point after 30 min. waiting, and your tour will be considered as cancelled with no possible refund.
If you warn the guide and show up late, the tour will take place but it might be shortened due to your late arrival.
Unpredictable things can happen (strikes or problems with public transport), and the guide might be late too. In that case please have your mobile phone switched on because your guide will call to warn you;
If your guide doesn’t call you within first 30 minutes from the beginning of the tour or if the guide is late for more than 30 minutes, the customer is free to choose from 3 options:
- Begin the tour late all the while keeping to its agreed duration and conditions;
- Reschedule the tour on a date and time suitable to both parties. If any entrance tickets were paid for the tour and they can not be used for the rescheduled tour, the guide will pay for the new tickets.
- Get a full refund. The refund is made within 7 days after the tour date to the PayPal or bank account from which the payment was originally made.
Tips for the guide are not mandatory but very much appreciated.
Cancellation & Refund
We refund 100% of the tour price if the customer cancels at least 14 days before your scheduled tour date.
We refund 70% of the tour price if the customer cancels less than 14 days before the tour date.
We refund 50% of the tour price if the customer cancels less than 7 days before the tour date.
We issue no refunds if the customer cancels less than 48 hours before the tour date, or if the customer decides not to show up.
Cancellations must be made via e-mail. The date of the e-mail will be used as a reference.The refund is made within 7 days after the cancellation e-mail.
Refunds are made to PayPal or bank account from which the payment was originally made. PayPal or bank fees are at the customer’s expense.
If any entrance tickets were paid in advance by us we will keep the amount paid for these tickets.
If the guide has to cancel the tour due to illness or force-majeur, the customer can choose from 2 options:
- Reschedule the tour on a date suitable to both parties. If any entrance tickets were paid for the tour and they can not be used for the rescheduled tour, the guide will pay for the new tickets.
- Get a full refund. The refund is made within 7 days after the tour date to the PayPal or bank account from which the payment was originally made.
Please note that for the moment we have never cancelled our tours. It happened already that a guide was ill, and in that case she or he was simply replaced by another qualified guide from our team.
You don’t have to worry about your tour if you have booked it with us.
